My guest today joins me from New Mexico and is an amazing NY Times, and USA Today Best Selling author whose title “First Grave on the Right” won both the Golden Heart Award and the RITA from Romance Writers of America. I won't list all her accolades, but will say she’s also been the recipient of two Holt Medallions and a Daphne du Maurier award. Her paranormal romantic thrillers (Charley Davidson series) and Y/A series (Darklight Trilogy) have both been published by St Martins Press.  Even though she’s not a new author (she’s been writing seriously since 2002), my guest, Darynda Jones, is a fairly new author to me — her work introduced to me by a mutual friend (Hi Dana Alma!) who almost exhausted every superlative in the dictionary as she described Darynda’s stories!! OMG I love her SO MUCH!  Welcome Darynda to the quick quizzing blogspot today. It’s great to have you here as my guest and I’m hoping to meet you at the inaugural Booklovers Convention at NOLA. Tha

My guest today is joining me from Austin,Texas. I’m a huge fan of her Highland Grooms historical series and have read many of her historical romance titles, but wasn’t aware until recently that she also writes contemporary romance Series) and contemporary women’s fiction. Now I need to check out her Pine River and Cedar Springs  series and also the Lake Haven novels!! (If you follow this blog weekly you'll have some idea of how long my TBR list is!!!) I'm sure when I read them they'll go on my keeper shelf along with the stories I have from her series The Desperate Debutantes (love that name!!), The Cabot Sisters, the Scandalous series, and The Secrets of Hadley Green. While I’ve never met this fabulous NY Times, USA Today & Publisher’s Weekly Bestselling author, I’m looking forward to catching up and saying 'Hi' in New Orleans at the inaugural Booklovers’ Convention. Not only do I love the stories I’ve read, but I was also looking through the Bio o

Joining me today from Idaho is a NY Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author who has written a huge selection of both regency and contemporary romances, young adult and paranormal titles. A huge array of stories with something for everyone!! Her publishers include 1001 Dark Nights, Hachette, Grand Central and others.  Now, lots of authors are interactive with their readers, but I don't think I've ever seen such a wide variety of interaction opportunities as there are if you join my guest's "Elite Lounge". There you'll receive lifestyle advice, information about books and even have a chance to add your input to her books and have your name included in the back. Just visit the website and check out "Elite Lounge" and see for yourselves what I mean.  Among her series are the “Eagle Elite Series” and “Ruin Series” and it was very exciting to know that her title “The Matchmaker’s Playbook” was picked up by Passionflix. My guest today is a #1 New York Times, USA Today and International Bestselling Author who writes New Adult, Young Adult, Adult, Paranormal, Science Fiction, Fantasy and Contemporary romance and loves to hang out with her husband and their Jack Russell Terrier, Loki. (If there’s a zombie movie involved, all the better!!) She’s the owner of the ApollyCon and The Origin Event which brings over a hundred authors and many readers together annually and she’ll be making some appearances at the Booklovers Convention in New Orleans in May. It’s my privilege to welcome Jennifer L. Armentrout to the blog today, all the way from Charles Town, West Virginia. Jennifer, welcome! Can you tell us whether your upcoming release has posed any particular challenges for you? My upcoming release STORM AND FURY was one of the hardest books I've written, because the main character shares the same degenerative eye disease retinitis pigmentosa as I do, so it not only made the book m
