There are many superlative adjectives to describe USA Today Bestselling Author, and former RWAus President, Kelly Hunter’s stories, and I’m not even going to begin to list them. I will, however, share with you two of the adjectives that always spring to mind when I think of Kelly—fun and energetic—and that’s coming from a person who has only had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of times over the years at RWAus conferences. The first novel I read by Kelly was her “Wife for a Week” which immediately grabbed me with its fresh premise. That was it! I was hooked! And, while I can’t claim to have read every book Kelly’s ever written, “Priceless”, “With this Fling” (what a great title!), “What the Bride Didn’t Know” and “Red-Hot Renegade” (all Harlequin Mills & Boon titles) have been among my favourites.                            Kelly has an interesting background and says that her journey into romance writing began when she was working in Malaysia in 2000, using her sc

Today’s guest received a coveted RT Book Reviews Career Achievement Award for both her Romantic Fantasy Series and Contemporary romance, and is a New York Times, USA Today and Publisher’s Weekly bestselling author with in excess of 100 titles.  In 2002, her novel “Too Much Temptation” was Amazon’s top-selling romance of the year. She’s been a ‘clue’ in both the New York Times crossword puzzle and USA Today Quick-cross puzzle and is an avid supporter of charities, especially through her Reader Author Get Together (RAGT) to raise much-needed funds for some of her  favourite charities, and by donating all the royalties and advances from specific titles to charities. It’s a huge honour to welcome Lori Foster to the blog today. Lori, thank you so much for your time! Thank you! I love every opportunity to chat with readers. J Can you tell us a little about your next release and whether it posed any particular challenges for you? My last release was COOPER’S CHARM, out in

Guest Author: Susan Stephens

It was back in 2013 in Freemantle when I first met USA Today Bestselling author, Susan Stephens, who writes fabulous romances for Presents line (including the bestselling Blood and Thunder Series). I then met up with her and my recent guest, Carole Mortimer, again in New Orleans at the Romantic Times Convention in 2014 and had a few very interesting conversations about romance writing. Highly successful, Susan has written over fifty books with global sales of over 10 million books, in 26 languages and across 109 countries!! I particularly love Susan’s personal story that she met your husband in Malta on a Monday, was engaged on Friday and married three months later. It lends so much credibility to the stories we write where true love can strike hard and fast! Thanks for joining me today for the quick author quizzing, Susan. Would you please tell us about your latest release and whether or not your characters or their story posed any particular challenges for you? Tha

Guest Author: Jayne Ann Krentz

It was an absolute thrill for Australian readers to be able to meet Jayne Ann Krentz on her trip to Australia in November last year. It was very interesting to hear all about her writing and how she manages to write across so many sub-genres of romance. As a reader across all three of her different pen names, I find it good to know that I’m going to read a historical romantic suspense when I buy her Amanda Quick titles, a futuristic/paranormal romantic suspense if the story is one by Jayne Castle, and (my favourite) a contemporary romantic suspense by Jayne Ann Krentz. Jayne Ann was originally a librarian after having gained a B.A. in History and a Masters degree in Library Science. She lives in Seattle with her husband and, when she’s not writing or keeping fit, she loves to cook!   I’d like to thank you, Jayne/Amanda, for being a guest author on the blog. Would you tell us about your latest release and whether it posed any particular challenges for you as it was taking s

Guest Author: Melanie Milburne

Melanie Milburne is an Australian writing sensation — a prolific, multi-award winning, USA Best Selling author of Harlequin Mills & Boon Presents/Sexy and also Medical romance novels. Her 75 th Mills & Boon title was published in 2018 and I believe the 80 th title has just landed on her editor’s desk!   Melanie is one very special lady who has a huge heart and an eager willingness to do whatever she can to help aspiring authors along on their journey to publication. I met Melanie many years ago at an RWAus conference, and she graciously offered to give a writing workshop to my RWAus group. At another workshop I attended, there’s a piece of golden advice she gave that I’ve always remembered: “The DELETE key can be your friend”! Over the years, what continually strikes me is Melanie’s energy and her positive outlook. Melanie has a Masters degree in education, but her long love of romance novels led her to a highly successful career in writing. She says, “I read my fi
