I first heard of my guest author today at an RT Convention in New Orleans, her home city, as she was fundraising alongside Tina DeSalvo and Cherry Adair for the fight against breast cancer. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to meet her. It hasn’t been until very recently that I heard she had a new title being released and looked up her website. Instantly, when I read about her inspiration to write her Black Raven series, my attention was seized. Reading more, I learned that her books are packed with romance, action, mystery, thrills and are described as having “intelligent protagonists” who “face dark adversaries” and that she loves many of my favourite authors. In fact two of my favourite authors gave her a great wrap. “Deceived brings history to life in a suspenseful, contemporary tale that sends the protagonists on a research trip to a past close to their hearts. Barcelona’s debut book brings an excellent author to the fore; the intrigue blends beautifully with the r

Publishers Weekly says that today’s USA Today Bestselling guest author “delivers a fun, feisty and relentlessly sexy adventure”. If you’ve read any of  her contemporary or historical romances, I’m sure you’ll agree! It’s not surprising that she has won the Golden Heart award and received a RITA Award nomination for Best Romance Novella (among numerous other accolades).  My guest joins us from her home in the Utah mountains, a place she describes as the perfect spot to hike and drink margaritas in summer, and read and drink hot cocoas in the winter (when she’s not writing of course!). I first met her in an elevator when she travelled to Australia in 2015 to be a keynote speaker at the Australian Romance Readers Convention, however we didn’t speak for long on that occasion because she had pretty bad laryngitis and could hardly speak at all! With true grit, she managed to deliver a fabulously interesting keynote address and won all our hearts as a person as well as an author.   Welcome

Today’s guest author has often said she must wear heels to gain extra height, but IMHO, as amazing as her shoes always are (even a popcorn box on shoes she wore to RT’s CinemaCraptastique-see picture below!), she could do without them because when she enters a room, she is larger than life!  I’m talking energy plus (maybe from her daily Mocha Frappuccino!), always a splash of colour (which you’d probably expect considering she was a very successful interior designer in San Francisco), an abundance of warmth and always a funny story to tell. I met NY Times Best Selling author, Cherry Adair, at my very first RT Convention back in New Orleans in 2014. A few months later, Cherry was guest speaker at the RWAus conference in Sydney and her ‘Plotting by Colour’ introduction inspired me to take her Master Class at RT in Dallas in 2015. It’s my very great pleasure to have Cherry as my guest author today.                                   Welcome Cherry and thank you so much

Guest Author: Christine Feehan

Amazingly talented and prolific are two of the first words that spring to mind as I start to write this short blog article about today’s guest author. My mind is literally boggling as I try to wrap my head around her publishing schedule just from August to November with her title “Dark Legacy” being published by Berkley on August 28th, another Carpathian novel “Dark Sentinel” having been released on September 4th; “Covert Game” scheduled for release on October 9th and “Leopard’s Run” coming out on November 6th.  I’ll understand if you have to re-read that last sentence but yes, this is the amazing publishing schedule of author Christine Feehan, and the fact that 16 of her titles have been #1 New York Times Bestsellers and all 7 of her series have hit the number 1 spot on the NYT Bestsellers list speak to the depth of her incredible story-telling ability. Among her many accolades, she has also been a recipient of the Paranormal Excellence Awards for Romantic Literature (PEARL) and
